Report ranks Gov. Little no. 1 in the nation for economic performance

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A national report by the American Legislative Exchange Council ranks Idaho Gov. Brad Little as number one in the nation for economic performance.
The report, which examined all 50 governors, ranked Little in 5th place overall and listed him as a 5-star governor.
“I’m proud to be named a 5 Star Governor – alongside these other fine Governors – by the American Legislative Exchange Council in its 2021 report on economic freedom!” Little posted on Wednesday.
Little also ranked well in avoiding debt (3rd in the nation) and corporate income taxes (6th in the nation). His scores were worse in education freedom at 29th and federal unemployment benefits at 24th.
